I love getting together with family & friends to watch football! With your friends, you get to know a bit about their background when they explain why they root for the team they love! Did they used to live in that town or area? Do they root for the same team their husband, mother, father, grandmother always rooted for? And even within our own immediate family, my kids & husband are fans of different teams. My daughter roots for the Steelers because she was born in Pittsburgh (altho we moved from there before she was a year old!), and my son roots for the Browns because Cleveland is where HE was born! It’s great that they have that connection to where they “come from”! And popcorn only makes it that much better! It brings smiles to everyone’s faces, and makes people feel relaxed enough to share details of their lives!
There is nothing better than Watching a game with a loved one and reaching into the corns and smiling to each other. No words ever need to be spoken the sharing and smiling says it all, loving the moment.
My family and friends are football freaks. We all wear something with our favorite team logo. We all gather around the big tv to watch the game. Popcorn is always a favorite at every game. We try different flavors each week. We not only eat our popcorn, but we have popcorn catching contest. We cheer on our favorite teams, and heckle and laugh through the entire game. Football season is the one time a week we can all get together and share the goodtimes. We truly love football and popcorn.
Watching football is definitely a family & friends event! Everyone together talking, cheering, (often yelling) and sharing good times and laughter. And, who doesn’t love popcorn?!? Popcorn Factory popcorn is the BEST snack to have around during a football game, or any sporting event really! There’s sure to be a flavor for everyone, and even the simplest butter flavor ROCKS!! Gotta have some for the SuperBowl for sure! (and then again for the Nascar season! :0)
I never appreciated the game of football till my daughter who is 30 asked me to watch the game with her at her home. So we are steelers fans and when the munchies come out popcorn has to be on the menu. While eating popcorn we can jump up, yell, do the happy dance but most important it is better than being at the movies and eating popcorn. Caramel is our favorite.
Go steelers! It is the greatest sport in the entire world, football is! Popcorn is basically confetti when the Steelers are player!
With two teenagers still at home there isn’t much family time together these days but I can guarantee when it is football season everyone is home together watching it. Rooting and howlering for their favorite teams to win. There is always pentyof popcorn, wings, nachos and sodas fo everyone to enjoy.
Friends, family, and popcorn are a necessity when watching football. Each person adds to the excitement and fun of watching the game. We always have popcorn while watching the game. We have even engaged in friendly popcorn fights. We have tried all kinds of flavors of popcorn. Our favorite is the cheddar and white cheddar. We have even had it dipped in chocolate fondue. It really is good this way. Friends, family, popcorn and football just go together. Who watches the Superbowl alone?

The first time I have had it and I fell in love with it. It will definitly be be served at my football parties the next few weeks and on into the nascar car season. We are huge Steeler fans, I have a steeler gnome shrine that sits in front of our tv and when pople come into our house it is the first thing they comment on. We have been loyal Steeler fans too no matter where we have lived we have always stayed true steeler fans, both my husband I grew up in Northwestern PA my husband served in the navy for 22 years and we traveled alot in his career before retiring and settled in Florida and when we started inviting our new friends to our house on football sunday I would tell them I hope you like the Pittsburgh Steelers and popcorn because thats are 2 of my favorite things on football day!!!

Football? Well I don’t care much for it. However, I am always happy to get together with friends for any event. And if that event happens to be football, then so be it. Personally, I don’t particularly care for watching football. BUT, I do enjoying having family and friends all around, and I LOVE me so POPCORN. So if turning the TV on and watching some football will make that happen……I’m going to go for it!! Just send me that beautiful big can of POPCORN (or 2, or 3, or 4….) and I will turn the TV on football, open my door, and watch my family and friends come “rushing” in!! Then we can enjoy the game, while enjoying each others company, and enjoying the marvelous, scrumptious taste of POPCORN!!
Football is family and friend day! The one day when we can actually get everyone in one place to spend some quality, action packed fun. Popcorn is always on my list of game muchies. Everyone loves popcorn! I get a few different varieties to make it interesting. My daughter is a total cheese lover. My son goes for the jalapeno and I personally combine cheese and carmel for that sweet and salty combo. And of course I get some regular butter for those that don’t venture into flavors :)No matter what filling food I put out, everyone always has their (hopefully clean)hands in the popcorn bowls. Always a great time spending a day with the people you love…and some you’ve learned to tolerate!

All of my friends and family are football junkies. With popcorn in one hand, a cold drink in the other, and football on the tube…Now that’s what I call a GREAT time! GO STEELERS!!! :-))
There aren’t that many football fans in my family. Most of my family consists of older relatives and really young ones, and I’m one of the few exceptions, being one of the 1st of my generation to be in college. However, when the Super Bowl comes around, my family has a giant get together at my grandparents house with chili dogs, chips, and other great food, while I play poker with my uncles and aunts, and the grandparents’ play mahjong.
My grandpa draws 100 boxes on a piece of cardboard, and we all pay $0.50 per box we want. Then the money is divided per quarter, with the 4th quarter being the most. After all the boxes are filled, we draw #’s to put on the sides. Then whatever the score is by the end of each quarter during the game, the last digit of each score corresponds to the box, and that person wins money. It’s pretty fun watching and hoping that the teams’ scores match your box.
